How to keep your Christmas ham at home?
Some tips to keep your whole ham or shoulder at home, either unopened or already started, son:
If you haven't started it yet: Unwrap and hang in a cool place, dry and no direct sunlight. You can also put it in the ham holder. See more info here.
If you started it. In the ham holder, cover it with a cloth or kitchen paper.. If you prefer that the first coat does not dry. You can cover it with the first slice of fat that you have removed from the ham. See more info here.
For boneless and cut hams, we recommend keeping them in the fridge, although they may be away for a few days, in a cool place. See more info here.
